Petersburg Outdoor Education Centre is located on the southern shore of Lough Mask, with Lough Corrib reaching to the South, the Maamturk and Partry Mountains to the West, and the limestone plains of Galway and State forests to the East. The area consists of 18 acres with a further 16 acres of an island 300 metres from the shallow shore of Lough Mask.
Within an hours drive from Galway, Westport, Claremorris and Castlebar train stations!

Travel directions
To avail of detailed directions go to the aa roadwatch website http://www.aaireland.ie/routes. Type in your journey starting point and Clonbur for your destination.
Petersburg Outdoor Education Centre is approximately 33 miles from Galway city, travelling via Headford, Cross, Cong and Clonbur(An Fháirche).
Alternatively you may travel from Galway via Moycullen, Maam Cross, Maam Bridge,Cornamona and Clonbur (An Fháirche).
Travelling from Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo via Cong, Clonbur(An Fháirche).
Petersburg may also be reached via Leenane, Cornamona,Clonbur (An Fháirche).
Each of the four roads is bilingually sign-posted.
Upon arrival in Clonbur from Cong
Turn right off the main road for the Finny road.
Continue on this road for 2km.
Shortly after the football pitch there is a road to the right marked by two stone pillars.
Continue up this drive, Petersburg OEC is located at the end of this drive.
